5 Things to Know This Week: Woodworking Exhibit, Burns Supper and an Open House

Patch gives you a rundown of what's going on around the community.

Michael Falcone, a sophomore at Quaker Valley High School, likes to spend his free time in the cabinet shop at Old Economy Village in Ambridge, trying to re-envision the ways of the Harmonist carpenters, joiners, cabinet makers, and other woodworkers by researching their tools. Michael will put on "A Plane Old Exhibit" highlighting these woodworkers through an array of their planes. An opening reception is planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 at the Visitor Center, 270 16th St. All are invited to attend The exhibit will be on display through April.  Youth Connect, in partnership with Sewickley Academy and QV Voice, presents "Teen Talk," a panel discussion for parents and other caregivers.
