Get into the holiday spirit with sounds from the Quaker Valley High School band and orchestra winter concert. The concert begins at 7 p.m. tonight (Monday) in the high school auditorium. Sewickley Academy students will be there to give a presentation on their fifth annual Public Safety Pancake Breakfast. The committee-of-the-whole meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sewickley Municipal Building on Thorn Street. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, Village Candy will stage another ginger tasting to check out the Bermudan Dark 'n Stormy and the former Soviet Moscow Mule.
