Sewickley police say Erin Bush, 25, had been employed two days as an esthetician at Casa Dolce Spa when she stole from a client.
A Pittsburgh woman accused of stealing cash from a day spa client is scheduled to appear Tuesday in court. Erin Bush, 25, failed to appear last week in Leetsdale District Court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. She was placed in the Allegheny County Jail the same day and released on $3,000 bond. Sewickley police said Bush had just been hired as an esthetician at Casa Dolce Spa when she reportedly took $120 on Aug. 24 from a client’s purse. Police said Bush engaged in small talk and rummaged through the woman's purse as the client waited on a nearby table. The client realized $120 was missing when she attempted to retrieve an envelope from her purse. She confronted Bush, who denied taking it, then left …

David Jablonsky is accused of targeting Sewickley businesses.
A Coraopolis man previously charged with burglarizing Sewickley businesses has been charged again with attempting to break into another borough business. David Jablonsky, 24, of Coraopolis is facing burglary, loitering and prowling at nighttime and simple trespass charges. A hearing has been postponed until Tuesday. According to a criminal complaint, Sewickley police were called June 10 to Sewickley Traditions, 555 Beaver St., for a report of a burglary in progress. The owner, Carl Bauer, told police he was upstairs when he heard two loud bangs so he went outside to investigate. Bauer saw a man later identified as Jablonsky on a red bicycle on his property. Seman appeared before Leetsdale District Judge Robert Ford Tuesday to answer charges in two additional cases.
A Sewickley man already charged with drunken driving and stealing from a local church was arrested again Friday for throwing his wife down the stairs and threatening to harm her and their infant son. Sewickley police charged Zachary Seman, 21, of Beaver Street, with endangering the welfare of children, simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned and placed in the Allegheny County Jail on $100,000 straight bond. Seman appeared before Leetsdale District Judge Robert Ford Tuesday to answer charges in two other cases. His attorney, Matthew Bungo of Pittsburgh, asked for a bond reduction on the new charges, pointing out that Seman has job obligations and is no longer living with his wife and 18-month-old son.
