in how you served as our supervisor their are not many like you. I only
hope the next man to take your place on the board can have the same

I really wish you would have attended the Candidates night where Eric Gordon and other candidates spoke on why they should have our vote. I had a lot of questions for all of the candidates that attended and I would have some questions for you also. You missed a real opportunity to have the voters be able to here why you are more qualified than Eric Gordon and why we should vote for you instead of Eric Gordon.

Eric Gordon.... Good Guy , Bad Guy or the Right Guy ?

I sat on the (CAP) Citizens Adversary Panel to plan the next 25 years into the future. When the survey was sent out 51% of the responses said that Cranberry Township has to much growth and to fast. So how has the township responded to this mandate from the citizens of Cranberry Township? Well my friends they are planing to grow out the township to approximately 60,000 residents as we move into the future. So you think traffic is bad now ...well you have seen nothing yet believe me .
The traffic problem is only one of many problems that the current supervisors have bestowed upon us .

After going to meet the Candidates night I find Eric Gorden to be honest and sincere . He is a breath of fresh air for Cranberry Township. He will work with state officials, he is a problem solver and he is the correct man for our Township when we need it most.

I have lived in Cranberry Township since 1956 and have seen how our local government is run. If you take the time to go to the township meetings you will find just what I have seen for many years that the supervisors all vote in lockstep with each other . They say one thing then do another. They say that we must raise taxes to keep the integrity of our community and a year later are spending over half a million dollars of your hard earned tax money on more land for another ball park. They refinance their loans and brag to you how they have saved the residents money and then the township turns around and spends the savings on their pet projects.

Freedom Road is the poster child for speeders in Cranberry Township. This road used to be a low volume road today it is 230 % over capacity and growing with this comes congestion and lots of speeders which make it unsafe for children to cross as we have next to no cross walks to take you to the new Shop & Save. Then we have the Illegal turns into and out of the Shop & Save. This happens also at the location of the BP
station at 1071 Freedom Rd & Parkwood Dr. Try to get in or our of your driveway if you live on Freedom Road you take you life into your own hands every time you do. Yes we need to slow the speeders down on this main artery which has become a "Main Commerce Corridor" from Beaver County to Cranberry Township .

Just do a search on the patch for (Cranberry Officials Approve Tentative Budget with Tax Increase). You will find articles on the subject and see what the supervisors had to say when wanting to have an increase in 2012 .
Their are three articles to view by the Cranberry Patch where you can see who was in favor for the increase who was not and what they said they needed the money for . You will also see why we did not think the township tried hard enough to find other ways to cut costs and not raise the taxes on the residents of Cranberry Township . I do not remember anyone saying they needed money to purchase more land.

    Raising Taxs in Cranberry !

Without an increase in real estate taxes, Jerry Andree said the township would have to cut a service or postpone resurfacing of the roads, a prospect he said could lead to more expensive repairs in the future.
Supervisor vice-chairman Bruce Mazzoni said he feared taking no action would lead to the township taking on a deficit. Fellow supervisor Dick Hadley said he believed the budget took a balanced approach to addressing the township’s needs.

“Our No. 1 priority is the financial health of this community,” Mazzoni said

Remember; Jerry Andree said the increase was needed to maintain services, particularly with roads. So they raised your taxes and Jerry Andree got another pay raise and now the Township has purchased more land with your hard earned money. You all need to attend the township meetings to voice your views and this would not happen.
See you all at the next Township meeting.
