Julianna Oleynik Cario, Neighbor

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by words. For almost just as long, I knew I wanted words to be my profession. I went to Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, and I loved every minute of it (Chicago is a great city).

After graduation, I moved back to the Pittsburgh area and decided to combine my love of words with my love of working with youth and become a teacher.

Now, I have the opportunity to continue my teaching career as I fulfill my writing aspirations. As a Canonsburg native, I love the idea of being able to write about a community I care so much about and am excited to see where Patch is going to go.
