FYI- Re: Legal opinion. Pitcher Park has never built a Memorial Wall on Banksville Road. We have no idea where the $6,000 figure came from nor have we deviated from the MOU. Your educated opinion is appreciated & we understand your staying in neutral territoy on this issue.

Debby:
Its a little complicated. Its also way too long for the board. Might be a great blog. Vietnam is still a very recent memory for me. Watch for my next blog.

Debby:
Got it. I've had memorials to Jeff Walsh and Jack Kelly posted for years now. My Vietnam story begins in 1973, in theater, but not in country. Its a good story.

Thanks for looking after Chester. While memories of Patriots, and the loved, now lost, can be bittersweet, is it not right to suffer and remember. WE all cannot forget, not ever. Chester, I am certain, watches over your boys.
As to the cretin who stole the ashes, what can I say? By the way, did you make the connection with Carol Haberchak? I believe here maiden name is Cipriani. Oh, and Mary, for folks like you I encourage you to use my real e-mail address. Its j2delallo@verizon.net
Hoping you enjoy my blogs in "Local Voices". I'm working on a blog right now that addresses the recently passed HR 822. I am pro-gun, and pro 2nd amendment 100%

Just read an article in The Almanac that someone stole the ashes of a Korean War Veteran in Cecil!!!! Ohhhh! Why would someone even do that????? I've got to tell you that where my sons are buried in Bridgeville...at the foot of their grave is Chester a WWII Vet. No family...no parents around him....nada ....zip! I talk to Chester, take care of his grave....and tell him to watch over my sons!
How could someone do that .....please tell me!!!

The story of how Carol and I came to meet, and unite with Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, is inspirational, and if one had no belief in God, our story would question the most ardent atheist's belief. For more, here are three links to articles about Carol. She's local, St. Pius grade school, and her losses are heartbreaking. Here are the links:

Mary, I know you have suffered greatly with the loved, now lost. So have I, but Carol's story is amazing. I'm hopeful this is the same Carol Haberchak you know.

As part of the healing process, perhaps you'd like to join us in our search for photographs.
