Metaphysical Portraits

This exhibition showcases works by visionary artist, Michael Fratangelo. “The very term ‘metaphysical’ suggests looking beyond the physical, visible reality to something either spiritual or mystical. I seek imagery that moves away from the specific to the transcendental. The purpose of my work is to communicate the spiritual aspects of my subjects through the use of color and shape. The colors and shapes in my portraits are representative of the spiritual entities of my subjects. I feel my work is spiritually guided.” - Artist, Michael Fratangelo
